Jenn Norpchen: Gourd Artist
In her studio, Jenn Norpchen transforms humble gourds into whimsical characters that blur the line between nature and imagination. Guided by a lifelong fascination with organic shapes and vibrant colors, she sculpts and paints each piece with meticulous detail and playful storytelling.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design as well as a fine arts degree, bringing a strong foundation in design, composition, and craftsmanship to her sculptural work.
Her shelves overflow with gourds waiting to become frogs perched on speckled mushrooms, beetles with shimmering wings, and other joyful creatures born from her creative world. Collectors across the globe are drawn to the charm, humor, and heart in every sculpture.
Jenn’s work is more than art — it’s a spark of wonder. Each piece carries a bit of mischief, a bit of magic, and a reminder that enchantment is everywhere if we pause long enough to see it.

RFA Mission Statement
RFA is a group of artists who seek to promote art appreciation in our city. RFA works to accomplish this through art exhibits, art demonstrations, work-shops, support of our local arts, arts in public places and art shows.
We hold monthly meetings, normally showcasing noted artists as guest speakers with some offering classes afterwards. We partner with the City of Rocklin in many endeavors to bring art to the public.
