Mary Pivetti
Mary Pivetti is an Auburn-based watercolor and mixed-media artist known for her atmospheric floral and landscape paintings that focus on mood, light, and emotional presence rather than strict realism.
She serves as an Auburn Arts Commissioner and helps organize community art programs that connect the public with working artists. In addition to teaching local watercolor classes for adults — many rediscovering creativity later in life — she created the Artist Resources & Training (A.R.T.) Series, a professional development program that equips emerging artists to successfully participate in tours, galleries, and exhibitions.
Mary is also the founder of the Flower Farm Art Retreat in Loomis, a nature-immersive workshop experience that includes scholarship opportunities for veterans as a creative wellness and community-building opportunity.
Through her teaching, public service, and programs, her goal is not only to teach painting techniques, but to help people find a place for themselves within the arts community.
She will be demonstrating her atmospheric watercolor poppy technique.
